- Are there any students in the class who don't watch the Olympics?
Why?
- Does anyone know who won the most medals in any one summer Olympics?
- Does anyone know how many countries participated in the Olympics
one hundred years ago and how many participate today?
Give the students the activity Olympic
Triva Quiz Tell them that this is a friendly competition. Give
them 15-20 minutes to find all the answers to the questions. They
will be using the Internet site History

Presentation
Prepare a card-based trivia game using additional information from
